Was Jesus a false Prophet? Let us examine the evidence!

InformAfrica – Was Jesus Christ a false prophet? Come Christians and non-Christians, let us examine the evidence as stated by Philmore Carter, a philosopher and regular contributor on InformAfrica.  Free your mind from mental religious slavery:

Jesus the false prophet created by former slave masters.

Jesus the false prophet created by former slave masters.

Christians, come let us see what your bible has to say about this matter; but first read this: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they will fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD. Jer. 23:16

1) Jesus made a false prophecy to his disciples, telling them that he would quickly return and establish his kingdom within their lifetime.

Verily I {Jesus} say unto you, there are some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Matt. 16:2.

{This was a false prophecy. Either Jesus made a false promise to his disciples, or some of them are still living today still waiting for Jesus’ return}

(2)Jesus said :
“Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then would THE SCRIPTURES BE FULFILLED that say it must happen in this way?” 55 In that hour Jesus said to the crowd, “Am I leading a rebellion that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me. 56 But this has all taken place that THE WRITINGS of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted him and fled. Matthew 26:53-56

{What scriptures? What prophets? What writings? There is no such prophecy or writings in the Old Testament about such things.}

3) Jesus also falsely prophesies that the high priest would live to see his second coming:
“You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Even the priest knew that Jesus was a blasphemous false prophet, “Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. Matt.26:64-65.

4) Jesus said:
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away”. Matt.24:35 , But the writer of the below verse said the earth will not “pass away” but instead it will be here forever. One generation passes away, and another generation comes: but the earth abides forever. Ecc;1:4

5) Jesus falsely prophesied that Nathaniel would see heaven open and angels descend upon Jesus. Nathaniel never saw it; neither has anyone else.

He {Jesus} then added, “Very truly I tell you{Nathaniel} , you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.” John 1:51

6) Jesus claims that Moses wrote about him:
For had you believed Moses, you would have believed me; for he wrote of me.” John: 5:46
{ Where in the bible can we read such writings of Moses telling us about a man name Jesus? It’s a shame Jesus didn’t give us the chapter and verse so we could look it up ourselves}

Now that you have seen the “biblical evidence” for yourself the conclusion is up to you to judge whether Jesus was a false prophet or not based on the words of the bible {the words of your god}.

    But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies(family tree), and contentions and strivings about the law:for they are unprofitable and vain. Titus 3:9

    But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2 Timothy 2:16

    Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil’. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Proverbs 3:7,8

    And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them Ephesians 5:11

    Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of concisions. Philippians 3:2

    Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
