InformAfrica.com — The breaking news of a Kenyan man who lost his life in a ghastly car accident is making rounds in the African diaspora community lately; InformAfrica reports.
According to reports gathered, a Kenyan man was killed in a car crash in Kent, Washington on Tuesday morning after a van he was driving veered into oncoming traffic and hit a smaller car. The accident happened around 6am on March 1st.
The driver of the van who is an indigene of Kenya and identified as Chrispus Kiliko of Seattle, Washington; was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident – South 277th Street and West Valley Highway.
Meanwhile, the driver of the smaller car was rushed to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to King County sheriff’s office.
The InformAfrica team conducted a web search on the deceased and found out that Dr. Chrispus Kiliko is a PhD holder in Public Policy and was, or used to be a lecturer at the Washington University in the U.S. Below is a photo of him in his hometown in Kenya, addressing a crowd.
Chrispus Kiliko is also the son of the first ever Kitui East Member of Parliament, Thomas Mwalwa. Chrispus declared back in 2013 that he will be vying for the seat to represent Mwingi, a town in the Kitui County of Kenya.
