GHANA: MTN steps up effort to improve quality of service in Kumasi
MTN, a mobile telecommunication operator, on Wednesday opened two new branch offices in Kumasi with a pledge to do more to improve the quality of its services.
Mr James Basintale, Manager in-charge of the Northern Business District, said given the intense competition in the industry for customer loyalty they would have to keep introducing new products to stay ahead.
The inauguration of the two offices at Suame and Tafo brings to 77 the national total, 10 of them, in Kumasi.
Mr Basintale said in addition to the branch offices, MTN has put in place varied distributing agencies, outlets and channels to offer one stop customer solutions and services.
He said they are determined to spread their distribution channels wider to ensure that subscribers everywhere are better and adequately served.
The opening of the offices coincides with the launch of the second edition of the Ashanti MTN Festival, a week-long activity is meant to deepen the company’s relationship with its key stakeholders and subscribers in the region.
As part of the festival, there will be free hepatitis C & B screening, inauguration of a six-unit classroom block at Ejisu and performance of a ceremony to start construction work on a maternity block at Nkyesa near Juaso in the Asante-Akim South District.
